Australien: 'World Summit on Arts and Culture'

Den femte verdenskonference om kunst og kultur har temaet 'Creative Intersections' og undersøger, hvordan kunst kan skabe forandring i samfundet. Arrangørerne forventer deltagere fra over 80 forskellige lande.

Experience the way the arts behave as catalysts for change. The 5th World Summit, to be held by the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) and the Australia Council for the Arts in Melbourne, Australia, 3-6 October 2011, under the theme 'Creative Intersections', will investigate how the arts can give voice to different communities and concerns through collaborations with other sectors such as business and the economy, new technologies, health and well-being, the environment, education and identity through Indigenous, local and global cultures.

The Summit will bring together government and cultural leaders from over 80 countries to explore how artists can give voice to diverse communities and concerns through collaborations with experts in health and well-being, the environment, education, business, new technologies, cultural identity and more.
