Platform for Intercultural Europe's 5th Intercultural Practice Exchange: Slovenia between old and new diversity
Resolving conflict over the building of a mosque in Ljubljana, enabling young Roma to find their place in the labour market, bridging cultural differences over joint care for the environment, investigating why the reality of intercultural education lags behind the declared ideal – these are the project examples which will be explored at the 5th Intercultural Practice Exchange of the Platform for Intercultural Europe in collaboration with its member organisation Kud Pozitiv, the boarding school Dijaški dom Ivana Cankarja and the Municipality of Ljubljana.
The exploration will take place in the context of wider questions about diversity policies in Slovenia. How does old diversity sit with new diversity in Slovenia as a country of immigration? Do the different levels of government work hand in hand to make the best out of diversity?
Around 60 participants from Slovenia and abroad will put their heads together for analysis. The results will feed into the advocacy work of the organisers.

Registration will open soon.
