About Vertical Exile 

We are creating a public space where citizens, artists and architects meet to share and exchange creative knowledge and define collective ideas in relation to the urban space of Botkyrka.  

By inviting professionals and students of art, architecture, design, dance, IT design, etc, from the community of Botkyrka and from Stockholm we wish to define, discuss and give workshops together with the participating citizens. Our aim is to generate a process of examination in co-operation with the community. 

The general concept is to make an investigation of the urban areas of Alby, Tumba, Fittja & Tullinge through a perspective of the trinity; Power, Identity and Space. By letting the work occur in many locations, we spread, connect and strive to create mobility within art disciplines, city centre and suburbs, and with the audience and performer.
